Description
TS Skin is a traditional tissue salt combination which may be useful for the management of minor skin ailments, scalp eruptions, mild eczema, acne, scaly skin and similar.
TS Skin includes remedies from the full range of Schussler’s 25 tissue salts in 6x potency. All are essential components necessary for good health.
We think of the Schussler tissue salts as a set number of 12 salts, when in fact there are 25 in total.
We’ve included Zinc Mur 6x in the combination because zinc can help in times of stress and fatigue, and zinc imbalance can be critical for balance of other elements within the system. This is a tissue salt rather than a supplement, so it’s action is to enable the system to balance generally.
Tissue salts support and enhance assimilation and uptake of food and nutrients, rather than supplementing diet. If your body is not able to assimilate what you intake then vitamins, minerals, etc can be wasted.
Many of these conditions are best managed by an experienced homeopath, so if symptoms are not improving in a reasonable period of time, consider individualised treatment with your homeopath.

How to Use
Schussler, who discovered the tissue salts, recommended using 3 or 4 times a day for 120 days!
We suggest 2 or 3 times a day for one month or more to support optimum health.
Calc Sulph is known as the “blood purifier” and is found in the liver where it helps in the removal of waste products from the blood stream and has a purifying and cleansing effect on the system. It is helpful in the treatment of acne, boils, skin conditions and eruptions in general.
Kali Mur is useful when the system is sluggish. Like Calc Sulph it is concerned with cleansing and purifying the system. Along with Nat Mur it is concerned with production of hydrochloric acid and is therefore important in the digestive processes which have an impact on skin health.
Kali Sulph has an affinity for the cells which form the lining of the skin and the internal mucous membranes. Together with Ferrum Phos, Kali Sulph carries oxygen to the cells and tissues. A deficiency may result in yellow/greenish discharges generally. It may be useful in various skin problems, including psoriasis and fungal conditions.
Silica is present in blood, skin, hair and nails and is a constituent of connective tissue, bones, nerve sheaths and mucous membranes. It is indicated where there is history of deficient assimilation and is useful where the is pus formation such as abscess, styes and boils. Brittle nails and weak, falling hair and urates lodging around joints and muscles also call for this tissue salt.

Dosage for Remedies

Homeopathy is not an exact science and while we can offer general suggestions as to how to give the remedies, each case will be a little different in terms of how often a remedy may be required to bring about improvement.
With homeopathics, because we are working with energy, not substance, we want to give just enough to stimulate the body to do the job. If your remedy works brilliantly with the first dose, you don’t need to repeat unless the symptoms appear to be coming back again.

Drops
Our products are made up according to traditional homeopathic pharmacy protocols and include a small amount of pure alcohol as a preservative. You can read the FAQ here on alcohol in remedies.
For newborns, if you do not wish to put the drops in the mouth, you may apply to the soles of the foot or the top of the head. You can also purchase drops and add a spray top to your order, so that you can spray the remedy onto the soles of the feet. The remedy will work just as well whichever way you use it.
Babies under 6 months – 1 drop or 1 spray
Babies 6-12 months – 2 drops or 1 spray
12 months and above – 4 drops
Organic German Sucrose
Give 1 or 2 pilules per dose regardless of age.
Crush between 2 clean teaspoons if you are giving to a baby and you are uncomfortable with giving whole.
Sometimes the pilules can look wet. This is due to the nature of the organic sucrose. The alcohol – which is the remedy applied to the pilules – will evaporate off as you use your remedies. They should not stick together and this does not affect the effect of the remedies.

Tissue Salts
If you have selected a single tissue salt remedy or a combination, the general suggestion is to take three times a day for up to three months (as per Dr Schuessler’s advice). However, we would expect you would see improvement much sooner than this, likely as soon as a couple of weeks. If you have taken for one month with no obvious difference, choose another tissue salt or consult your homeopath.

10g pilules: approximately 110 pilules
30ml drops: approximately 120 doses at 4 drops per dose
50ml drops: approximately 200 doses at 4 drops per doses
