Description
TS Acutes is my all time favourite remedy for the beginnings of an acute illness, originating in our Children’s Ear Clinic dispensary way back in the year 2000.
If you’re not sure what to give, start with this remedy!
TS Acutes is useful for all ages when you suspect something may be brewing – cold, sore ear, fever, etc – but you have no symptoms to pin a remedy on, or which you don’t feel necessitates a trip to the doctor in the early stages.
It contains those remedies traditionally indicated for the beginnings of colds and similar ailments with sneezing, runny nose, possibly mild fever and general unwellness – but you may not see these symptoms in the beginning. Sometimes a mother’s intuition just tells you something is going on.
The remedy can also be helpful in drying up a cold if the mucous is lingering and is the same tissue salts as in Schussler Combination J.
For ongoing symptoms or those that do not resolve in a reasonable time see your GP or consult your homeopath.

How to Use
Schussler, who discovered the tissue salts, recommended using 3 or 4 times a day for 120 days!
We suggest 2 or 3 times a day for one month or more.
Ferrum Phos is the oxygen carrier of the system and assists with inflammation, processes vital for our system. It gives strength to the walls of the blood vessels, especially the arteries and is indicated where there is a lack of red blood cells, as in anaemia. It does not supplement iron, but helps the system use iron from the diet and balance the intake efficiently.
Kali Mur is useful when the system is sluggish and there are white discharges, such as mucous. It is concerned with cleansing and purifying the system and is particularly useful combined with Ferrum Phos for children’s ailments such as ear aches, colds and sore throats. Along with Nat Mur it is concerned with production of hydrochloric acid and is therefore important in the digestive processes.
Nat Mur is the water balancing tissue salt which helps to maintain proper moisture in the system and can be useful for both dryness and water retention.It can be helpful for headaches with constipation, colds with profuse water mucous and sneezing, and great thirst. It has a major usefulness for cold sores and is useful for hayfever. It often has a craving for salt and salty foods.

Homeopathy is not an exact science and while we can offer general suggestions as to how to give the remedies, each case will be a little different in terms of how often a remedy may be required to bring about improvement.
With homeopathics, because we are working with energy, not substance, we want to give just enough to stimulate the body to do the job. If your remedy works brilliantly with the first dose, you don’t need to repeat unless the symptoms appear to be coming back again.

Drops
Our products are made up according to traditional homeopathic pharmacy protocols and include a small amount of pure alcohol as a preservative. You can read the FAQ here on alcohol in remedies.
For newborns, if you do not wish to put the drops in the mouth, you may apply to the soles of the foot or the top of the head. You can also purchase drops and add a spray top to your order, so that you can spray the remedy onto the soles of the feet. The remedy will work just as well whichever way you use it.
Babies under 6 months – 1 drop or 1 spray
Babies 6-12 months – 2 drops or 1 spray
12 months and above – 4 drops
Organic German Sucrose
Give 1 or 2 pilules per dose regardless of age.
Crush between 2 clean teaspoons if you are giving to a baby and you are uncomfortable with giving whole.
Sometimes the pilules can look wet. This is due to the nature of the organic sucrose. The alcohol – which is the remedy applied to the pilules – will evaporate off as you use your remedies. They should not stick together and this does not affect the effect of the remedies.

Tissue Salts
If you have selected a single tissue salt remedy or a combination, the general suggestion is to take three times a day for up to three months (as per Dr Schuessler’s advice). However, we would expect you would see improvement much sooner than this, likely as soon as a couple of weeks. If you have taken for one month with no obvious difference, choose another tissue salt or consult your homeopath.
Bottle Sizes
10g pilules: approximately 110 pilules
30ml drops: approximately 120 doses at 4 drops per dose
50ml drops: approximately 200 doses at 4 drops per doses
